Why Europe?
One complete website for Europe - why? There are more and more Brussels-made decisions which influence our daily life
e.g. taxation and food-control. For this reason it becomes more important to know all about the EU.
Unfortunately, nobody can understand the phenomenon in Brussels; the jungle of regulations, regulators and permanent
opponents is too abstract, too opaque. europa-digital leads the way throughout this jungle by building
panorama platforms and providing the user with understandeable tools.
We watch the growing availability of the EU-information resources, unfortunately the EU-webmasters give only limited
information how to use that potential. We explain these potentials of the information resources - for more political
participation and for a better understanding.
EU especially could benefit enormously through the dynamic internet development. Presently, EU is developing new
net-connections for a better politics-presentation and a better citizen-participation -far better than most of the
national governments. We rerport about the use ore misuse of the EU-chances.
As competent and critical observers we work on the acknowledgement of Europe by its citizens.
Within four columns we inform about the latest news in Europe
europa-digital reports with statements to actual subjects providing transparency and clear definitions.
europa-digital explains, amends and links all important relationships in Brussels.
europa-digital as entertainer: amazing links for unusual answers to strange questions!
europa-digital favours a network-connection with all partners in Europe. The Europe-oriented association pol-di.net
offers all structures required. Our model: We support the development of the European information-society actively
on three levels.
1. Assisted "take off" for independent web-activities in or around Europe.
politik-digital and europa-digital are permanently looking for " internet friends and relatives". We are aiming at a
well tuned co-operation with comparable activities regarding "politics and internet" and "Europe".
For example we cooperate with an independent editorship in Bern, Switzerland, website politik-digital.ch which is using
the imported Look and Feel from politik-digital.de. More co-operations are ready to start in 2001.
2. No boundaries for internet discussions via pol-di.net.
An increasing number of experts are watching and discussing the political challenges of the internet worldwide. With
the association pol-di.net we will catch on to these discussions for bundling and further developments - online and
offline.
Starting points of pol-di.net: we cooperate with experts of different branches. Like the members of our association
there are experts within the board of trustees: scientists, journalists and internet experts as well as young,
internet using politicians.
3. Content co-operations with media all over Europe.
The total information throughout Europe are too multifarious for our editorship: for this reason we favour the
international links via internet.
At present there are co-operations with press-, radio,-and TV-media-editorships in Germany, France, Austria,
Belgium, Sweden, Finland and Greece. europa-digital is presenting their contributions as supplement to already
existing distribution cycles via bookstalls and other conventional media.
